PURPOSE OF THE GROUP 

The Los Angeles County Forensic Supervisors Group will be responsible for developing ideas that would bring about enhancement, evaluation, improvement of current business practices, and for the development of standards associated with the daily operations of Forensic Services within Police Departments throughout Los Angeles County.  These shared ideas among supervisors are for the fostering and advancing of developments within the Forensic Scientific Community in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of both the scientific community and each members respective Police Department.

The mission of the Los Angeles County Forensic Supervisors Group is to foster, and develop standard operating procedures and ultimately create a forum to explore the latest technologies associated with the forensic science field. 

MEMBERS  

The membership shall consist of individuals who have a Forensic knowledge and a direct impact of the daily management and supervision of personnel involving Forensic Services within Los Angeles County.  

MEETINGS 

The Los Angeles County Forensic Supervisors Group will meet on a bimonthly and rotational basis at various Police Departments throughout Los Angeles County.  The hosting agency will notify the Chairperson prior to the next meeting regarding location and time.
